Privacy policy

We are concerned with the protection of personal data and we aim to ensure the transparency of information, your right to privacy and insurance of your rights. Therefore, please read this privacy policy (hereinafter – Policy) and learn about the data we use, the purpose of their collection, the third parties the data are transferred to, the storage period, the legal framework for their collection and use. Participant of the conference

1.2. The data subjects provide the following information:

Surname
Name of the institution
Email
Telephone number

1.3. Personal data provided in the registration form:

Participant name, surname. Purpose of the data collection – to identify a participant. Period of the data storage – 2 months from the end of the event. Legal framework of the data collection – implementation of the contract (GDPR 6 (1) b.).
Name of the institution. Purpose of the data collection – for statistical information. Period of the data storage – 1 year. Legal framework of the data collection – legitimate interest (GDPR 6 (1) f.).
Email, telephone. Purpose of the data collection – to connect with a participant for the purposes of the event marketing. Period of the data storage – 1 year. Legal framework of the data collection – implementation of the contract (GDPR 6 (1) b.).

2. What are your rights with regards to the provided personal data

At the time of the registration, the participant will be requested to confirm that he/she has read the Policy and has been informed about the following rights.

To get acquainted with his/her personal data;
To require a correction of the incorrect and/or inaccurate personal data;
To prohibit the collection and processing of personal data at any time;
If you have objections or complaints with regards to the processing of your personal data, you have a right to submit a complaint to the State Data Protection Inspectorate, J. Juozapavičiaus str. 6, 09310 Vilnius, tel. (8 5) 271 2804, 279 1445, fax (8 5) 261 9494, email ada@ada.lt.

To give effect to your rights or get additional information, apply by email privacy@ktu.lt.

4. Other provisions

A data subject can only register as a participant after reading and confirming that he/she has got acquainted with the Policy.
While processing personal data of the Customers, the University complies with the provisions of the European Union General Regulation on Data Protection (hereinafter – GDPR).
The University has a right to amend and/or supplement the Privacy Policy at any time.
