International Conference Lithuanian Research and Industry

This conference is a forum for discussion on the issues of the country’s major industrial and economic development, and the policy and strategies for planning technological progress. The experts of various science fields, representatives of business and politics exchange views on various aspects of Lithuanian research and industry which lead to joint decision-making.

The history of this conference dates back to 1949, so it will be organized for the 70th time.

10.30 – 11.00 “Challenges for Lithuania‘s Industry Competitiveness in Global Innovation Economy”. Gintaras Vilda, Vice-Minister of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania;
11.00 – 12.00 Panel discussion “How to ensure Lithuania’s competitive advantage in the global innovation economy?”

The event is free of charge. Attendance is only secured upon registration and confirmation by a separate letter from the event organizers.

The conference is open to members of Lithuanian industry and business associations, representatives of companies, higher education and research institutions and community members.
